a touch of neon.
i'm obsessed with this neon trend, and i am forever happy that parts of the 80's are back. i will forever be an 80's child. (it never really left me.)

a trailer to call home.
oh, good heavens! look what i have come across: Hicksville Trailer Palace! its a truly inspiring retreat in Joshua Tree that is a traveler's and good ol' white trash gal's (or guy's) dream vacation!
i'm already planning a trip.
it first opened as a retreat for artists to come and "create & collaborate" but later became a place for anyone and everyone to come and enjoy this awesome space. i want to stay in The Sweet - with its kick-ass Airstream and groovy interior. ...but i'm also pretty keen on The Fifi...or The Pony...i'd really take any one available.

collaborate!
collaborations are possibly the best things ever! i always get
excited when i hear about a new partnership with target or forever 21
or...H & M. insert Anna Dello Russo, the once described as a "fashion maniac", Editor at Large and Creative Consultant for Vogue Japan. i am possibly even more excited than normal for this
collaboration - accessories are SO MUCH fun and can totally make any
outfit. the sad part: we have to wait until October 4th, but i plan on buying each and every piece...or almost, at least.
...im also a little obsessed with her apartment now!

colorful appetite.
i have fallen madly in love with macarons. the first time i tried them, i didn't know what all the fuss was about...but the past month or so i find myself constantly sneaking away to Honoré Bakery, which is dangerously too close to my house; (luckily, tho, it is just far enough away for me to not visit there every day.) sadly, tho, this last visit i was horribly bad and bought a dozen!
i fully intend to attempt making some of my own one day - hopefully soon - they just seem so intimidating.
they're so pretty i always find it hard to choose which ones i want and i always try new flavors when i visit...and am usually quite satisfied. the lavender is always my favorite.
